Education Uganda ProjectProject Education Uganda is concerned in improving both teaching and learning in Ugandan primary schools through the use of slates and chalk. The team has been working with four diocesan schools -- Kamaiba Primary School in Kasese, Kitalikibi Primary School in Bwera, Kagando Primary School in Kisinga and Ibanda Primary School in Ibanda, as well as Bwera Teacher's College. Teachers have responded very positively to the work, which now enters a new phase with support for the Diocesan Education Officer, Rev. Asa Kiriaghe. The project is partly funding Rev. Asa, providing additional resources to the four schools and has donated a van to the diocese for use by the project and for the diocesan community.
